Trying to figure out the best words to put down when describing this day has been hard. I have written and re-written this a ton and still am not doing it the justice that it deserves. I am not a words-man (did I just make that word up?), but rather a picture-man. Please bare with me on this one.
Nick and Megan are two people that are very emotional, loving, spiritual people. This just flows from them; with their family and friends being much the same way. Trying to capture all the emotions from the day was challenging and fulfilling all at once. I wanted to give them the gift of properly showing all that was happening this day (the love, the spirituality, the excitement) and it was tough at times. I was really honored to be let into their lives and have them, as well as their family and friends, show me what they were feeling. No one worried about the camera or how they looked…they just were!
You will notice that this blog post has more images than most. I had a very hard time narrowing it down in order to show you what it felt like to be at their wedding. I hope that I did this justice for Nick and Megan.

Nick and Megan got ready at the same house, but never saw each other. All morning long they “talked” to each other through this journal that they passed back and forth with some help from their friends.

This was pretty a big moment for Megan’s mom. She told me she dreamed of the day her daughter walked down this staircase on her wedding day ever since she bought that house.

Nick, Megan and their parents were all full of overflowing emotion during the very spiritual and intimate ceremony.
There was not a dry eye in the house when Megan and her dad made their way down the aisle. It was the most emotional entrance I have seen.

Fantastic! I also shot a wedding that was very emotional and it was truly a wonderful experience to be a part of. Hard to keep a camera steady with these. Thanks for sharing!
