Fun at the lake. That is about all I can say about this wedding. Pure fun. Kate and I truly enjoyed our time with Sara and Bryan and their crew. I had never met these two face to face till that weekend as they live in New York but it did not matter at all. It was like we were old friends. That is how these two make you feel when around them. Such welcoming people. When they contacted me about their wedding and they told me it was to be held at the Lake of the Ozarks I was beyond excited to approach something new and unknown to me. It was also my birthday weekend so I was hoping for a fun time. I was not let down. Everyone was so happy to be there including their beloved dog Pierre with his permasmile. They day revolved around fun times at the lake with an amazing grand entrance by boat for the wedding party, to a reception by the water under the stars, culminating with a surprise boat exit at the end of the night for the guest to continue the party on the water. Dare I say all was smooth sailing that day! Thanks guys for a wonderful event and I am looking forward to seeing you next week in the studio!
Onto the images-
Bryan getting ready.
This was pretty funny. Sara was getting help with her dress from her friends and someone joked she looked like the statue of liberty with hand up in the light.
For a while it was just Bryan and Pierre getting ready in the presidential suite.
A toast with Sara and her friends and family before departing for the ceremony.
Sara opening up her gift from Bryan. I think she liked it.
The rings.
The reaction.
The church was pretty cool with its bank of windows behind the bridal party.
Sara’s dad sells boats at the lake so luckily one of his clients offered to let the bridal party use her amazing yacht for a cruise and an awesome way to make an entrance to the reception.
Waving to the crowd on the approach to the reception.
A successful cake cutting.
I loved this. The owner of the yacht and her friend leaving the reception after a mission completed.
First dance. My favorite part of the night. This image sums up the entire wedding for me with all the aspects of the day wrapped up into one photo.
The conga line and a new outfit for Sara.
This was cool. They had a homemade photo booth at the reception that was a camera on a tri-pod on top of a table for people to take photos of each other so I shot through the view finder of that camera when Sara and Bryan took their turn.
Some of the creative messages.
Bryan’s friends hanging out on the end of the dock taking in the nice evening and a cigar.
Sara on her way to the party boat waiting to take the wedding party and guests back to the hotel.
Tyler! You are such an artist! We are so thrilled with the photos on the blog – we cannot wait to see you next week to see them all!
Sara and Bryan
Great work as usual Tyler! I really like how you captured their facial expressions!
