I had the pleasure recently of joining in yet another wedding celebration with one of my favorite families. It all started 4 years ago when I photographed two of Rachel’s sisters weddings. I fell in love with this family that summer. So I was over the top excited when I learned of Rachel’s engagement and the chance for another rocking party. You know when you have a friend that you never hardly see and when you finally do it feels like no time has passed and things are just comfortable? That is what I felt when I arrived that day for Rachel and Claude’s wedding, it was like those other two weddings were just last month. The only thing different was that their family had grown considerably. It was wonderful to see all these new little ones running around adding to the excitement of the festivities. These guys know how to throw a party and Rachel and Claude’s wedding did not disappoint thanks to the incredible talents of Ellyn Bold Event Designer. She knows how to produce an event like no other complete with the best band I have ever seen at a wedding to drinks that produce smoke! It was awesome to see. We are still working on their multi-media piece that Mike Varel and I are putting together but in the mean time here a few of my favorites of the day. Enjoy.

Claude hanging with his boys.
This was hilarious. Three out of the five sisters having a laugh as they share some spray on tan product for their legs. Problem was that it was almost empty so each of them only had half a leg done.
Girls will be girls.
Boys will be boys.

I loved this moment. Claude’s sister trying to get a view of the ceremony.

Ellyn and her crew did an amazing job transforming Black on Burlington into a high energy atmosphere.
Practicing the first dance.
This was an awesome moment. Rachel’s cousin Jessica, who’s wedding I also photographed, sang the first dance song. Very cool.

Towards the end of the night a huge thunderstorm rolled in.
Rachel’s dad takes a moment at the end of the night to soak it all in.

Thanks so much for letting us be a part of another wonderful celebration.
