This past week the kids had their spring break. We crammed so much into that week that there really was no “break” about it. We started out on a road trip to Chicago to visit Pam’s family. While there we got to meet the newest addition to the clan, our 3 week old niece, Samantha . On top of all that fun we also got to hang out with the wonderful Candice c Cusic, who is a great photographer based out of Chicago. She was gracious enough to spend a few hours hanging with us and documenting the 4 of us as we played a bit in the windy city. Then a drive back to KC just in time for St Pats and last day of the boys dance class. Thank goodness that we got to go back to work this week so that we had some time to rest.
Train ride from the suburbs to the city, Zach decides it is time for a good pouting session.
Thank goodness everyone shook off the gloom and had a great time on the train in to the city.
Zach admiring the view….
…then licking the view — yuck!
Alex and Candice hamming it up during our shoot.
Amazing how gentle Alex can be when he wants to.
Cousins playing their “top secret mission” at Grandma and Grandpa’s house.
Alex taking a break to pose for me a bit. The thoughts behind that smile worry me at times.
Back in KC for our last class of the session with Ms Kat at City in Motion . The boys love going each week to “shake their tush” as Zach puts it.
Finally I end with some funny shots of me. Both boys are really taking an interest in cameras and what they do. Here are some images that Zach took of me while sitting on the train. Shocked me how many were in focus and lit well. Seems the apple does not fall far from the tree.
Now, back to work! Hope you enjoyed.
LOVED IT – THANK YOU
I love this images, you have a wonderful family!! 🙂

I love this post, Tyler… it’s fun to “meet” your family. I especially love the photo of Zach licking the view. Hilarious!
What a FUN post!!! Great way to start my day.
Tyler and Pam, Your boys are more than cute. They have LIFE in them! You all clearly have fun together, and that, mingled with other important ingredients, compose family, one of life’s greatest gifts.
I love them all but would seriously blow up ALEX ADMIRING THE VIEW for my own dining room.
