Kansas City family photography | A little impromptu Mother’s day celebration in the rain

It’s the little things in life. The moments between the moments that matter. It is what I live for as well as what I look for when I am photographing people. I love spontaneity and I am super thankful I happened to have my real cameras at home this past Mother’s day. We had just returned from breakfast with Pam for mother’s day and I was on the phone with my dad. It was pouring rain and I heard laughter coming from the front yard. I ran out to see my wife and our two boys having a ball soaking wet. I love these photos so much. There is nothing more that I want than to have happy kids enjoying life and learning how to be free which seems to be getting harder and harder these days. To Pam, thanks for being such a wonderful mom who shows our boys what life is all about.
