Veronica + Adam | Wedding

030

I met Veronica and her peeps at Noltes’s Bridal show,White,  about a year ago January.  Since then it has been nothing but a joy to work them and their peeps.  The reason I say their peeps is these two have a wonderful group of people that surround them and support them.  Veronica and her mom are wonderfully close, her dad ended up being one of our biggest fans on facebook, and that was just beginning.  When I got to the wedding I honestly had trouble figuring out who was actual family and who was part of her second family.  See, Veronica grew up with basically two moms and what seemed like more “siblings” than I could count.  It was wonderful to witness how all of these people came together on that wonderful night in January.  It was the perfect blend of party and personality.  These people are so great to be around and truly make you feel like one of the family(s).  So much so that Veronica’s dad actually publicly thanked all of the wedding vendors in his speech including me.  That was very cool if him to do.

Michael Nolte of Nolte’s bridal did an amazing job coordinating and designing the entire event making it all happen without a hitch as usual.  It was a joy to work with you all and witness such a tight family bond.

The images-

Love this moment.  While Veronica was getting her hair done she tried to do her moms makeup and failed miserably.  This right after her mom had to wipe it all off while saying, ” I look like Cruella Deville!”.  Pretty funny and really says a lot about their relationship.

Adam gets help with his tie from his best man and seizes the opportunity to see how far he can push the limit of comfort of his friend.

032

Love this image of Adam’s mom and her grandson while waiting for Adam to get ready.

034

Veronica’s dad sees her for the first time.

035

Then her bridesmaids.036

Waiting for the call for the ceremony to start.  This is when old school windows work in my favor.

037

Great shot by Kate of Veronica waiting some more.

038

Great detail of Adam’s note to Veronica that day sitting next to a photo of him as a child.

039

Veronica’s parents watch as the guests get seated for the ceremony.

040

I love this angle.  I mounted a remote camera in the rafters of the Clubhouse on Baltimore in hopes of capturing a unique angle of Veronica and her dad coming down the aisle while I was shooting from ground level.

Veronica’s parents during the ceremony.

Ceremony over and congrats all around.

044

Watching as the ceremony room is flipped and readied for a rocking reception.

045

Waiting to be announced.

046

Father of the brides toast.  A perfect blend of funny and emotional.

047

First dance.

The maid of  honor  making sure she got the bouquet.

049

Then she celebrated with the band.

050

Each groomsmen got a personalized beer mug.

051

Inside joke but this lobster made it’s way around the party in many ways.

052

Veronica sporting a hat she wore to a party years ago that made a comeback at the wedding.  It started at the hotel, made it to the reception, and ended up on the floor at the end of the night.

053

Exhaustion setting in.

054

Leaving at the end of the night.

055

Loved this moment.  These are the type of moments I search for endlessly.  The moments between the moments.  Veronica’s maid of honor ran out in the snow in her bare feet to hail a cab for the couple.  She succeeded.  That is what I call a trooper.

Absolutely stunning! The foot print in the snow is one of my favorites of the set. I am always amazed at the way you are able to capture these moments.
