Holy sh*t what a wedding! When I got the e-mail from Catt telling me I could do whatever the (bleep) I wanted, I had a feeling this was gonna be a good wedding. They did not disappoint. Their reception was just about as good as it gets. From the bridal party passing out shots of Fireball as part of the grand march, to little camp fires on each table for making s’mores, to a dance party that would not quit, the night was jam packed with moments. It all went down at my new favorite venue, The Guild in Kansas City. What a night. So great that I had to include three photos as part of Teaser Tuesday.
Getting the party started off on the right foot included the bridal party passing out shots of Fireball to the guests upon being announced into the reception.
Catt’s bridesmaids were not your average bridesmaids. The majority of them are all very close friends from Catt’s Roller Derby team. These gals were hilarious and crazy resulting in the best maid of honor toast I have ever witnessed. A surprise rendition of “Blurred Lines” complete with back up dancers.
Often times I have trouble locating the bride and groom during receptions. Catt and Cameron made it easy for me as they never left the dance floor the entire night.
