An engagement BLITZ!!!!!

It is no secret that I am bad at updating the blog, especially with engagement sessions. However, I have had some pretty great ones lately and wanted to share some of them with you. I really like e-sessions, as we call them. It is a wonderful time to get to know my clients better and more importantly to re-train them on how to have their photo taken. See years of people “training” people what to do when a camera is pointed at them is very hard to undo. So this session gives that chance to let people just be themselves and work on forgetting I am there. I also really work hard on every session to really look past what is staring me in the face and make some images that I have never done before or seen before. Hopefully I accomplished that! Feast your eyes on some fun images! This a big post to stick with me and scroll baby scroll!

I love shooting at this location! Well, especially when they like pink. This is at Addie Rose Boutique. A pretty cool little store in Brookside that specializes in hip, fun, unconventional clothing for kids and women. Thanks for letting us use your pinkness!

This was pretty cool. I love finding new places to shoot and that is pretty much what most of my e-sessions are. We drive around chasing great light and looking for interesting locations. It proved to work again here. We were in the west bottoms and I thought I was done shooting and on our way out I saw this iron gate with great light on it. I knew it would be awesome back lighting. What also happens when you do this is you find really cool places and stores. This was shot at a great place called Seldom Found Architecturals Purveyors of Rare and Antique Building Materials. Such a cool place full of great old building materials and what not. Plus they were very cool to let us shoot there.
