Wedding at Counter Point in Kansas City | Teaser Tuesday

Wedding season began for me last Saturday with a special event that took place at Counter Point in the Crossroads in Kansas City, Missouri. I have known and photographed Rachael and her family for years so to be asked to document her wedding to Cade was an honor and the perfect start to my year.

Here are the highlights:

The ceremony literally lasted 5 minutes

There were no toasts, garter or bouquet tosses, no cake cutting, just hours of dancing and partying complete with a rice crispy treat tower

They LOVE, I mean LOVE their dog Dora. Even when they were cleaning up poop, pee, and vomit at the end of the night in their wedding clothes.

Here are some of my favorite images:

Cade feeling a little nervous before the ceremony.Sweet moment during the ring exchange.

Waiting for a taxi in downtown Kansas City.

We would not have had anyone but you, Tyler, capture the joy of this evening. You are part of the family. Thank you!

I was the mother of the groom. My name is karen carpenter. The wedding was something out of a storybook. We had everthing, laughs, tears, hapiness, jokes, friends and family all together in one spot. I can not compliment all the was great and beautiful. With all my love, mom❤
