Chelsea and Dylan had the largest and one of the most amazing weddings I have ever seen in my ten years as a wedding photographer.  The event was held in Manhattan, Kansas at the Kansas State University Alumni Association and it did not disappoint the 1000 plus guests in attendance.   Michael Nolte, of Nolte’s bridal and the man in charge of designing and coordinating the event spent 10 months planning to make sure everything went off without a hitch.  There were so many great facets to this event but my favorite was the exit from the church following the ceremony.  Michael Nolte’s plan was to have the bride and groom exit out of the church with 900 plus people waiting with rose pedals to shower the couple as they made their way to the get a away car.  It was quite a scene to see so many people flooding the street and how happy Chelsea and Dylan were.  The happiness continued as they jumped into Dylan’s dad’s vintage Cadillac for a drive through Aggie ville in Manhattan.  They had a great time sitting on the back of the car waving to all of the on lookers.  Brandon Parigo of Wirken Films was there to document the event on film and will be doing a documentary film in the coming weeks so stay tuned to the blog.
