An Adirondacks Wedding Video | Kate and Endel

I love destination weddings. There is something intimate and awe inspiring about the choice to get married in a location far from home. This intimacy makes the couple often more open and accepting to my capture of their event. I’m a personal documentary wedding video shooter. When you hire me, you get someone who is dead set on spending all the time I can focusing on capturing who you are more than where you are. Every once in awhile a couple comes along and views my work and their destination wedding through the same lens that I do. That where they are is personal, intimate and isn’t the focus of their day. Kate and Endel are one of those couples. They brought me to Camp Topridge in the Adirondacks of New York. Kate and her family have been visiting the private owned camp since she was a child. It is a magical place full of whimsy and wonder. It took my breath away at times and is the perfect setting for a wedding. Even more important it is the perfect place for Kate and Endel’s wedding. It was really hard to rip my mind away from the majesty of the place, but my job wasn’t to make a documentary about Camp Topridge. My job was to show the love, faith and connection that Kate and Endel have for each other, their family and their friends.
